MANCONE Patrick

Patrick Mancone began his musical studies at the regional Conservatoire in Toulon, taking lessons in piano, harmony and musical analysis, before transferring to the national Conservatoire in Paris, where he joined the classes of Pierre Sancan, Henri Challan and Claude Ballif. He then turned his attention to conducting, which he studied first under Louis Fourestier and later with Jean-Sébastien Béreau.
Patrick Mancone taught at the regional Conservatoire at St-Maur-des-Fosses before taking up a post as assistant director at the regional Conservatoire of Dijon. He is currently head of the municipal Conservatoire of the 13th arrondissement in Paris.
