MARTIN Gilles

The pianist, saxophonist and composer Gilles Martin Was born on 3 November 1971 in Nevers, France.
He was a brilliant student at the Paris Conservatoire, and went on to win many international prizes as both soloist and chamber music player (including Gap, Lantier, Privas, FNAPEC, Illzach, Bydgosk and Rome). He has also made several recordings and regularly performs in France (at the Salle Pleyel, Salle Cortot and Cirque d'Hiver in Paris) as well as abroad (Germany, Italy, Rumania, Czech Republic, Poland, Morocco and Tunisia).
Gilles Martin is a qualified music teacher and teaches saxophone at the Nevers Music School.
He also composes and has written numerous pedagogical pieces. His output currently includes over 70 published works for various instruments.
