Our aim in this series is to increase the repertoire with materiel specifically designed to aid the performance of contemporary music. We therefore commissioned works by a variety of composers, who were selected on account of their different styles and even generations, in order to offer pianists today several new pieces, fulfilling the role of a photo album of the 20th century.
