Although this piece could equally well be called "Homage to Leo Brouwer", its title will be instantly recognised as a paraphrase of the Cuban composer and conductor's own Elogio de la danza (1964). This piece breaks down into a succession of short and long movements, sometimes in the form of hidden quotations, that encapsulate all I feel I owe to Leo Brouwer, one of the guiding lights of the guitar today.
