PROUST Pascal

Pascal Proust, who was born in 1959, went to school in Orléans before entering the Paris Conservatoire in 1974, where he won three ?rst prizes (in "Solfege spécialisé", French horn and chamber music). In 1985 he was awarded the third prize in the International Toulon Competition. He has been a member of the Philharmonistes de Chateauroux, the Ars Nova ensemble and the Quintette à vent de Paris.
Pascal Proust holds a teaching diploma, and is currently teacher of horn and chamber music at the conservatoires of Orleans and Montreuil. He is series editor of a set of horn works for Editions Combre, and has also written his own two-volume teaching method (J'apprends le cor), studies and pieces for horn and piano, as well as numerous other works for various instruments.
