Singer and pedagogue Elena Vassilieva presents singing exercises intended to develop vocal virtuosity and fluidity using a modern writing style, incorporating large intervals, chromaticism, quarter-tones, dynamics, subtle labial articulation of words, and precision of attacks throughout.
Each volume corresponds to a different voice and proposes vocalisation, with written texts, specific to each tessitura, to each type of voice and to the character they each produce.
